February 12th CLE: Exploring The Israeli Legal System

The WSBA International Practice Section is pleased to sponsor this month's CLE:

Exploring the Israeli Legal System

Speaker:
Join Dr. Raigrodski, Assistant Director of the Asian Law Center at the University of Washington Law School, who will discuss the nuances and influencing internal and external factors that have helped shape the Israeli legal system. Dr. Raigrodski will also touch on the recent developments on various legal issues such as the rights of same-sex couples in Israel.

Attendees at this interesting CLE will gain an understanding of the following:
- The history of the Israeli legal system;
- A comparative overview of the Israeli legal system vs. the U.S. judicial system;
- Development and precedents in Israeli law pertaining to same-sex couples; and
- Practical tips when dealing with the Israeli legal system.
