CLE = “DOMESTICATION & ENFORCEMENT OF FOREIGN JUDGMENTS IN THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA”

The WSBA International Practice Section presents a CLE on “DOMESTICATION & ENFORCEMENT OF FOREIGN JUDGMENTS IN THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA.” 

Join Ms. Jessica Yu and Ms. Sung Min Ko as they discuss the viability of enforcing U.S. Judgments in the Republic of Korea. Ms. Yu and Ms. Ko will discuss the process and procedure on how to domesticate and enforce foreign judgments in Korea. They will further discuss the nuances to consider when dealing with the Korean legal system. In addition to providing practical tips on how to navigate the Korean legal system, Ms. Yu and Ms. Ko will discuss the application of the Korean legal authority and international treaties that regulates domestication and enforcement of foreign judgments, arbitration, and settlements.

Attendees at this interesting CLE will gain an understanding of:
- A basic overview of the Korean Legal System
- Enforceability of the Foreign Judgments in Korea
- Practical Tips when dealing with the Korean Legal System
