The CLE will discuss the intricate and complex laws related to "water" and the various tools used to manage international waters. The CLE provides an excellent entry point and introduction to this area of law.

Dan is the primary author of two studies published by the Colorado River Commission of Nevada, Laws of the Rivers (an examination of the legal regimes of major interstate rivers in theUnited States)(2006) and World's Major Rivers (an introduction to international water law with case studies)(2008). Both studies are available for no cost on the Commission web site, http://crc.nv.gov/index.
Dan's presentation will focus on international water law and the results of the World's Major Rivers study.
