You are invited to attend an international trade discussion and panel on the topic of illegal dumping and the potential risks of importing. The practice of dumping involves price manipulation that potentially harms U.S. manufacturers and competitors where the import price is deemed too low by the U.S. Department of Commerce. American importers are at serious risk for severe penalties when they are caught in a dumping situation. This seminar will provide you with the knowledge and tools to avoid importing risks. The World Trade Center Tacoma welcomes experts to speak on the panel from the Law Offices of Garvey Schubert Barer, International Trade Administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Northwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center. Following the formal panel program, speakers from Garvey Schubert Barer will be available for individual advising sessions for attendees.
