This seminar is designed to provide attorneys with the information and skills that will aid them in preparing witnesses for trials and depositions. While focus on prepping witnesses from non-American backgrounds, the techniques outlined will provide practitioners useful tips on how to handle people from any walk of life. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how to deal and communicate with foreign clients as well as receive tips on effective cross cultural communication. Attendees will also gain an understanding of “what not to do” when dealing with multi-cultural witnesses and clients.

Description: Join Mr. Canali, an Italian lawyer, as he discusses the intricacies and nuances of the Italian inheritance system as well as the differences between Italian and US systems in matters of real estate rights and transactions, property and titles public register system and the office of a civil law notary. Mr. Canali will also discuss the enforceability of a US will specifically relating real estate assets, within the Italian courts and the validity of U.S. provisions as it is applicable to Italian inheritance system
