WSBA-IPS Law Student Reception
Monday, April 8, 2013

A hosted reception for international lawyers and law students interested in international law to meet and interact. Delicious hors d’oeuvres, beer, and wine will be provided. There will also be a fun, low-key networking activity with prizes that did not come from Archie McPhee.

Cost:        IPS members and law students: free!
                Non-IPS members may join the IPS for $40, and then the reception will be free.

Speaker:  Schwabe shareholder Michael Herbst will provide brief remarks on networking strategies.

Washington State Judicial Diversity Program Seeks Applicants!

The Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law is looking for applicants from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds for the second installment of its Judicial Diversity Program.  The program will pair qualified attorneys interested in pursuing a career on the bench with judges who will mentor them for a year.  Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until March 4, 2013.  The announcement for the program may be find at: http://www.lawyerscommittee.org/issues?id=0008
